Colleen Loubser had a bad fall off her horse on Sunday late afternoon (17 August).She does not have medical aid and so was transported to firstly Malmesbury State Hospital; then Paarl State Hospital; then yesterday afternoon (Monday) they sent her to Tygerberg Trauma Unit where they only did the CT scan at 9 last night.

Between her husband Johann and a number of friends it was felt that something needed to be done urgently as she had not received any treatment yet. It was organised for her to be transferred to Milnerton MediClinic where Colleen is now under the care of a neurosurgeon.

Colleen is now in ICU and has been sedated and placed on a ventilator to stablise her.

A trust fund has been set up for her to help with the costs of the hospital and doctors.
